Flower captured by the pond in the park

I went for a little walk around Jellie Park today. I managed to capture it after the rain had stopped and the sun had come back out. It was quite a warm day today, so it was especially pleasant walking under the mature trees of the park.

The land for the park was gifted to Christchurch by James Jellie back in the 1950’s.

I think your flower is a day lily.
Great sunset tonight. I envy you your grandstand view. I went down to the pier to watch it.
