Not your average public bathroom! This is the entrance to the Women’s Changing Rooms at the Terrace Down’s Resort. It’s simply gorgeous and one of the best I’ve seen!

This is upstairs at the cafe.  Downstairs they have very cool swivel chairs. The cafe is on the corner of Manchester and Hereford right in the heart of the CBD of Christchurch.  Food’s good too!

This is the lodge at the Terrace Downs Resort. Can you tell from the tussock that it was windy? It’s often quite windy there and more blustery than gentle! Can you believe they built a world class golf course there? You’d have to be good to play in the wind…

This bridge takes you across the Avon River and into Hagley Park (there is a large car park in the park for easy access to the Botanic Gardens or the greater Hagley Park).

Seen in a car park in the central city. I’ve given it the title ‘urban art’ as this is no mere scribble.

Wow, this willow is not giving up its foliage in a hurry.  Looking splendid though.

This is the lookout at Sign of the Takahe in the Cashmere Hills. The mountain range in the background is the Southern Alps and the peaks are looking splendid with snow falling over the weekend.
