This is one of the residential housing developments that has popped up in recent years. The street at the end with the blue building is Lichfield Street.

The housing is located in Rauroa park which is a green space that runs parallel to Manchester Street. The residents are going to be just one block away from the new stadium when it opens, so easy walking distance to catch sporting events and live shows. I expect that when the stadium is open, this area will ‘go off’ as we said in the 90’s – no doubt with new bars and eateries popping up.

Looks like Dux Central is going to have some competition as well as help as they wont be able to handle the increased business by themselves.

Agreed, and there’s very good reasons why restaurants and bars group in one place! Bar and restaurant hopping…
