I currently have some very hungry monarch caterpillars in my garden. I’ve avoided planting swan plants the last few years as it’s a nightmare trying to keep up with them and I’m too much of a softie to control the population. So, I’m now growing my own swan plants in addition to buying mature ones.

They don’t seem to do well at my place. The caterpillars are there for a bit, but then disappear. It does mean that my plant survives from year to year.
