Cruise Days Diner is a 1950s style American diner, located in Oxford. A fun place to go for lunch when doing a day out of Christchurch.

Looks like a great place. Too bad they didn’t opt for the old school menu boards as then it would have been truly like stepping back into a time machine!

We have a place nearby that looks like a 1940s diner complete with a stainless steel countertop bar with rows of original bar stools. The place has had Greek owners since the 1940s and servers beef hotdogs and sodas (beers too) and Greek Baklava or pound cake for deserts. The name of the place is The Roast Grill (in Raleigh, NC) . If it wasn’t for their flat screen TV you would think you had stepped into the 1940s when entering the place.
