After my brief visit to the park a few days ago, I decided to come back today for a proper walk. It’s such a lovely spot with the different sister city gardens, and the walks. I’ve not been a very frequent visitor of late, so it was something of an exploration.

    It’s a great place. Back in the early 1980s when it was still a working quarry, I lived in the house up past the quarry – the only things I recognise now are the line if walnut trees that were along my driveway.
