They’ve clearly had a difficult life being exposed to a lot of rough weather, but they are still beautiful.

    If the big tree could only talk… of times before the first European settlers set foot upon the Land of the Long White Cloud; times when Moa could take refuge in the shade of its larger ancestors; times when all the rivers and streams ran so fresh and clean, even people could drink out of them safely and without a second thought… a place where dreams were born, and time was never planned…

    I dare say your photo is quite impressive — had me dreaming and waxing poetic! 🙂
