It’s always exciting when you see the glass going into a new building – but because this is the new central library and the artist’s impressions I’ve seen of it are very impressive, I’m even more excited to see the progress and that glass. The library will be called Turanga – and it will be more than just a library – with a role as a community hub. It’s due to open sometime in 2018.
