A lovely balmy Autumn day today, so it was off to the beach we went. On the short drive to Sumner, Christchurch appeared to be an advert for outdoor living in New Zealand. There were people out sailing in the estuary, lots of people walking, skating, running or cycling down the coastal pathway, and then lots of people out surfing or boating, and the rest of us just enjoying wandering up and down the beach eating our ice creams!
