A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
I decided to go and see the earthquake memorial this evening, as it a beautiful late summer evening. It seems that many people had the same idea – with may people taking the time to visit as well. It really does make the most of it’s position with the sun shining on the wall and terracing and the gentle sound of the Avon river flowing through the city.
The memorial seems very suitably peaceful. I can imagine many, many people were thinking back to that day.
