Ginger Cat in a Box

DSC04579

I didn’t get out of the house for photos today due to my work load, but my neighbour’s cat has been very obliging with his posing. The box was from a courier delivery and we’d left it on the dining-room table so of course the ‘ginger menace’ as we’ve nicknamed him, decided it would be a fun place to sit. He stayed in the box for about an hour!

His real name is Marcelle and he lives just up the hill, but likes to visit us as he knows I’m home during the day. He’s quite a character and we really enjoy having a cat without the food and vet bills! When he’s sick of us or hungry he pops back home for a feed and some attention from his owners or to hang out with his almost identical ginger brother.

He wasn’t so cute tonight! He brought us in a dead rat. Fortunately I didn’t see it as I recognised the meow he was making.
