Today they turned the traffic lights on at this Ferrymead Bridge intersection. It’s been a long road to this stage (pardon the pun!). This intersection has never had lights before, but after they redesigned it, they put in the lights and the approach from the St Andrew’s Hill road is now very different (and probably frustrating for some in particular bus drivers who have a narrow turn into Bridle Path Road). It’s been 5 years of disruption with this intersection, so I’m looking forward to having some normality and the novelty of being able to turn right from Bridle Path Road and into main road!

It sounds like it’s been quite a headache. I like the graceful slope of the road.
