I flew home early this evening from Wellington. There was a norwest wind blowing in Christchurch so the plane has a very particular route it takes so it lands into the wind – the plane flies almost parallel to Memorial Avenue. It was pretty warm still when we arrived in Christchurch at 7.30pm – I hear we’ve had a couple of very hot days (it was mild weather in Wellington).

Great view of Westminister Park and Christchurch Park together under the wing!

Most impressive Robert – I could barely tell where I was and I was in the plane!
