A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
Just one of the unusual sights you can see if you venture into the city at the moment. This is in Cashel Mall. I photographed the same spot a while back when it just had the green shingle and that was enough of an odd sight, but to see the diggers parked on top, that’s just a whole other level of interesting. I wondered if it was a security thing – perhaps it makes it harder to steal them (and these things have been know to go missing in the city even though they have GPS tracking systems!).
A unique sight it is.
