Wildflowers in Hagley Park opposite the Botanic Gardens. I’ve never noticed these flowers before but I’m guessing they’ve been there for years based on how many there are there. I’m not sure what they are called. Whatever they are, they are lovely and I’m guessing they will cover a lot more of the park in a few year’s time.

    They do appear to be very hardy wildflowers with their ability to compete with and take over the grass growing here. Just curious if their growing season lasts as long as the grass and if they’re perennials too, as I would love to have a colourful lawn that never needs mowing 🙂
