I could see this morning that there was a lot more snow on the mountains and that it was reasonably clear. So a perfect opportunity to run out to Sumner to get this shot. I’ve tried on several occasions to get something like this, but the conditions change on me. I still would have preferred better lighting, but them’s the breaks when you do a daily blog! The photos are both taken from Scarborough above Sumner beach. It was only 8 degrees today, but blue sky and sunshine (the way Cantabrians like it!).
