I’ve been away for a few days… hence the lack of posts. I headed south to join in the festivities for the Oamaru Victorian Heritage Week. It was a really fun few days and I can highly recommend it for a great escape from reality for a bit (especially if like me you’ve had that 100 day cough).

There’s certainly a lot to see and do in Oamaru and I love the heritage buildings.

Thank you Oamaru, we had a blast and we will be back!

Victorian architecture and heritage, along with steampunk art are all sorely lacking anywhere close to where I’m at, but then again Oamaru is steampunk capital of the world — looks like a great weekend adventure for sure!

Also love the view of the full moon hanging low to the north over Thames Street 🙂
