A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
A greenfinch and sparrow having a feed at my bird feeder. I’m surprised at how frequently they are feeding for the time of year – pretty much always see at least one bird at the feeder. Sometimes there are up to 6 birds competing for food at the same time. They are easily spooked and if I move inside the house or go outside they take off. So I shot this series of photos through my window.
And here’s a little video I also put together of them.
I love your colourful bird feeder, very nice. Though it looks like you may need some maintenance. I now have no garden so I only see birds by chance when I am about.
