These are the Guy Fawkes fireworks that are let off on the New Brighton Pier. I was standing on the top of Mt Pleasant hill with my big lens. I couldn’t even see where the pier was, so I’m pretty lucky to have gotten this shot 🙂
It was pretty cold up the hill! Winter seems to have come back to visit us this week. But it was worth it to have a crack at these shots.
I love that bottom shot, very nicely done. I love fireworks but somehow missed the displays around here this year.
