Dare to Hope

I passed by this sign outside what was the Beckenham Baptist Church. It made me stop, and think. I, like most Cantabrians, still have a lot of hope for the future – a very bright future for the city. In fact I think people are almost starting to feel a real sense of anticipation about how Christchurch will be re-made. I certainly hope that we’ll lead the world in many areas and the town planning will be sustainable, thoughtful, inspirational, and in keeping with our environment and history.
