Strawberry Fare are a restaurant that is well known for their desserts – I saw this sign in several spots and decided to treat myself to a latte and slice of cheesecake (well I shared the cake). The cheesecake was very very good!
The title of this blog refers to one of the cutest things I have heard this week – some of the really little kids have been talking about the ‘earthcake’ and asking for the ‘aftersocks’ to stop… Well, the aftershocks are certainly getting fewer and of less intensity, but they still take us by surprise. I was woken up to one this morning, and later this afternoon there was another decent jolt (and a little yelp from me).
Yesterday I spent quite a bit of time going around the inner city and was relieved to see lots of my favourite buildings are fine (well at least to my untrained eye!). So I thought I’d put up some of the photos as in my keywords stats log I can see a lot of people have been searching online to see which of their favourite buildings have been affected.
