Well, I’m not sure technically if this is a ceiling, but I can’t think of the term for it! It’s a covered entrance to a hotel in the city with a big lamp!

Michelle, I know what you mean about the correct name for an architectural detail. There are some many terms. We have something like this above the entrance to the main Leeds tourist office, but the glass disappeared a while back, leaving just the metal brackets.
