Last night’s sunset

The sun setting taken from the Port Hills. The sun drops down behind the Southern Alps and I was amazed at just how quickly it disappeared.

Here’s a close up of the Southern Alps taken with my zoom lens. These mountains are about 10o kms away from where I was. And yes, that’s a plane flying over them (probably going to Australia!).
