On Sunday I attended a performance of “Love’s Labour’s Lost” a comedy by Shakespeare and performed outdoors at the Mona Vale gardens. It was a hot day and I felt a bit sorry for the performers. The audience was fine – we were all sitting under the shade of large trees.

According to Wikipedia “Love’s Labour’s is often thought of as Shakespeare’s most flamboyantly intellectual play”. And I have to admit that I drifted off for a bit (thinking about what I’d have for dinner or something like that) and would miss something vital and be completely lost! But even if I couldn’t follow all of it, it was very well acted.
