The Retour restaurant is located on the banks of the Avon river in central Christchurch (on Cambridge Terrace). I’ve never actually dined there, but have admired it for its fine dome architectural form and photographic potential!
A very nice photograph. You should dine at the restaurant and then make us all jealous by describing the delicious food – which will be delicious if the excellent dome is any indication.

I remember Summer rock concerts here way back in the 70s before this was a restaurant……………ahh those were the days 🙂

I went to the Retour twice the week before last while in NZ with my family on holidays. It was first class…both in food and quality of service. A genuine highlight of our stay in the shaky isles.
