Now that it’s Autumn in New Zealand and we put our clocks back on Sunday, it’s getting darker much earlier. So I’ve started taking photos between 5-6pm, just as the light is getting that lovely golden hue. The shot was taken around 5.45 tonight, with the sun setting very quickly I was scrambling to keep up with the light. But I rather like the glow on the building just down from the gallery, and its rather neat with the reflections in the gallery’s windows. It’s a great subject to photograph, but also challenging as without a wide angle lens it can be difficult to get the full impact of the architecture. So for now, I focus in on pieces of the building.
