Christchurch people once again came together in large numbers to pay their respects by attending the service in Hagley Park to remember the victims of the mosque attacks. It was a moving service with some powerful speeches and moving music.

I’m having a clear out at the moment and have left a bunch of web design and business books in the non fiction fridge of the book exchange. It’s crammed full of lots of other interesting books as well. These community mini libraries are such a great resource.

Such beautiful floral tributes at the Botanic Gardens. It still feels very surreal and I’ve been incredibly sad and shocked. But seeing the outpouring of love and support for the Muslim members of our community has given me such hope for our future.

My first time spotting the cookie bus on Manchester Street today. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to stop for a cookie. I’ll be back though as having checked out their Facebook page I’m sold.
