Today, several of our inner-city streets were closed to cars so that people could walk and bicycle freely around the city. Despite the iffy weather (grey clouds and the chance of rain) people came out with their bikes of all types and there was a parade with Frocks on Bikes…

This is my view, isn’t it pretty.. a nice way to end a frustrating week – I’ve been sick most of it with what I suspect is Bronchitis. Not a lot of fun and very exhausting.

This garden on High Street (in front of the C1 cafe) is full of herbs and vegetables along with a few regular plants and trees. I wondered if the cafe is using it for their meals? Which would make a lot of sense…
