Birds in my Garden

It’s been raining all weekend, so I’ve turned my camera on some very local subjects – the finches and sparrows that are enjoying a free lunch on me. I noticed about 100 birds in the tree and grabbed my camera, but as soon as I opened the door they took off. So these photos have been shot through my windows so as not to spook them. I’ve got two bird feeders directly opposite this tree, so they fly about 3 metres over to the feeder. The feeder has been very popular today as not only is it rainy but it’s cold and windy.
