A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
I was surprised to see this rose in flower. It’s in the rose bed at Ferrymead Reserve on Bridle Path Road. I think these roses have a bit of a hard time of it. No watering as far as I can tell, so unless it rains…. they are also next to a stone wall, which I suspect might radiate some heat back onto them. Despite these disadvantages this rose is out and doing it’s thing!
