I was lucky to have lunch today at the Common Cafe & Garden Bar in Akaroa. As a dog lover, I quickly clocked this wee cutie (Polly) walking around the cafe. Once she settled into what I can only assume is her couch, I took my opportunity to get a quick photo. I didn’t want to bother her, as she clearly was having a rest from all her important guest greeting duties.

By the way, the lunch was delicious and highly recommended. One thing I was super happy about was getting dressing and sauce to go with my curly fries. Cos sometimes you want the dressing and sometimes you want the sauce.

I also enjoy a cafe that has quirky features like a hidden library shelf as a door to the toilet!
