This was my first visit to Ravenscar House Museum as it was free access to the museum. I didn’t know that much about it, so wasn’t sure what to expect. As you can tell from the photos, there was a lot to see, and I didn’t capture everything. As it rained very heavily while I was there, I didn’t get out into the garden or take photos of the exterior. The museum is at 52 Rolleston Avenue, and there is another open day tommorrow. I highly recommend a visit, as it was fascinating. There’s something there for everyone – even a Goldie art work.

Ravenscar opened to the public on 8 November 2021, showcasing the extensive private art collection of Jim and Susan Wakefield.

Update…I went back the next day to photograph the outside. Look at the queue to get in! At least it wasn’t raining.

It kind of looks like modern stuff mixed with older stuff, like the cupboard that has books on it.
