All around the city these communication cabinets have been painted with lovely artworks from local artists, as part of the Cabinet Art Project. To learn about the mural process visit the Chorus website at https://www.chorus.co.nz/cabinet-art-project and to see other Christchurch murals see https://www.chorus.co.nz/cabinet-art-project/artworks.

This is a nationwide initiative, so if you live elsewhere you are probably seeing them too! What an awesome idea, I love them!
