A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
This stream is tidal with water coming in and out with the tide of the estuary. I noticed today a lot of shells on the bottom of the stream. I’m not sure if the shells were washed upstream or if they’ve been dumped. This little section is popular with herons.
