I didn’t leave the house today as a lot of gardening was done. So here’s a photo of my new favourite cosmos, which I believe is a cupcake cosmos.

    Just curious if you’ve ever attempted a macro photograph of the centre of a flower? In most cases where there is a distinct colour change between the centre and the larger petals around them, you’ll see miniature petals within the centre of the flower. I discovered this by complete accidental serendipity while photographing a bee collecting nectar from a flower and was amazed at what I had captured.
