It’s that time of year again when we celebrate Chinese New Year. 2024 is the year of the Dragon – hence why we have a dragon lantern in the Avon at the moment. We will celebrate with a New Year festival over three nights (Feb 9th,10th, and 11th) that includes lanterns, live shows, food stalls and so forth. For more information about the festival visit https://ccc.govt.nz/news-and-events/whats-on/event/happy-chinese-new-year-festival-2024 and also https://springfestival.org.nz/
