A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand

I always thought that once grown, these trees would make for an interesting photographic subject. I’m not sure what they are but they are really cool.
They are nice looking at their present size and density, albeit I don’t know their species or how large they will grow but if this species of trees grow to become too large there could be unintended problems in the future as I’ve seen happening where I live. Hopefully the right species for this use has been chosen for the density they are packed into as they they would become increasingly very nice photo opportunities in the future.
