We took a drive out to Waikuku today to check out the lavender fields. What a lovely spot, and in addition to the planted lavender, there is a shop to buy their lavender products (soaps, creams and sprays etc), and a nursery full of different lavender varieties. The field is also planted with different varieties of lavender per row, so it’s a great way to find out which lavender might suit your garden best. I personally came home with the Impress Purple variety.
