I’ve never looked closely at this tree before, and had always thought it was a camellia. Turns out it’s a magnolia called Michellia.

    Its a wonderful sight isnt it.There is another one on Fendalton road beside the Mona Vale gatehouse. Lots of amazing botanical sights in Mona Vale at present too.
