Lake Waihola is about 40km South of Dunedin. It’s a small settlement with a lake that is surrounded by green rolling hills. I was there very briefly today as I drove back to Christchurch from further south. The reflections by the road were looking great, so I pulled into the lakeside near the camping ground.
