I had heard there was a tearoom opening at The Tannery but it was a surprise today when I got there to see it was operating. As a big fan of high teas, it was a no-brainer for my partner and me to have lunch there. Afterall, we’d walked an hour to get there (down via the Tow Path walkway) so we were ready for some yummy food and most definitely some cake. Oh, the cake. I could wax lyrical about the amazing chocolate dream cake they have there (see the collage below) – just the right amount of sweet and tart with the addition of raspberries. The platter we ate was extremely tasty as well. Very highly recommended and I’m sure to be back a lot!
