This artwork about memory is by artist Ruby Williams and can be seen in Hagley Park near the Armagh Street entrance. See the image below for a fuller explanation of the artwork. It’s interesting to watch who has a reaction to artwork in the city – or who is most observant amongst us. As I photographed the branch many adults passed by and never once looked up. Then a 3 or 4-year-old went past, and was captivated by it, trying to get his mother’s attention ‘Mumma looka that!’.
