I was making myself some breakfast this morning when out of the corner of my eye I caught some movement in the garden. I was pretty surprised and delighted to see a quail pair with a juvenile. And then I saw the rest of them! I estimate there were at least 10 quails from tiny chicks right up to adults. They move jolly fast and are quite nervous of people (rightly so!), making a good shot of all of them rather tricky to get. But here are some of my best ones, and a few shakey videos I took.
