I’m so glad this building has been saved and restored. It was formerly known as Isaac House (and was owned by the Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust). The new developers opened the building to the public today for just two hours, so I had to have a look.

The stairs are really impressive – they don’t make them like that anymore.

Like just about everyone else at the open day, the thing that we all did was walk straight over to the windows to take in those weird views!

Speaking of weird views, it’s strange to see the communications tower at Sugerloaf off in the far distance beyond where the bell tower at Cathedral Square used to be!
