If we are not fast enough in bringing out the Magpie food, they get a little impatient. They start singing at us, or the baby Magpie in the picture has become rather brave and has decided he’ll just come inside and help himself! The door was closed today, so he was thwarted in his attempts to break and enter. He’s no slouch – I’ve found him going through the bowl containing our house keys, so that’s had to be moved! We certainly are not encouraging him inside, but it’s still pretty entertaining when he’s caught.
