I don’t think I’ve ever featured this on the blog before, which surprises me as it’s rather quirky. It’s the Edmond’s phone booth near Madras Street. It was built in 1929 thanks to local businessman Thomas Edmonds. You can learn more about Thomas Edmonds at http://edmondscooking.co.nz/history.

    I’m surprised the ‘Sure to Rise’ slogan hasn’t taken on a whole new meaning being this most unique gem in the rough is located in the CBD. Hmm…
