I was taking photos today with a friend along Colombo Street when we popped into Silk Italia, which specialises in beautiful silk clothing imported from Italy. We spent quite a bit of time having a look around and chatting with Susha the owner (who it turns out is a very talented photographer). I came home with one of the hats on display (the black one with the cream floret on it). The clothing is lovely and very romantic with lace and silk. I’ll be back in for a spring summer wardrobe I think. Silk Italia is located at 383 Colombo Street – just a short walk from The Colombo.
