A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
A while back (not sure when) I noticed this Buddha had been placed in the rocks along Bridle Path Road. I’d seen another Buddha down by the river (so I’m assuming it’s the same one). I also only recently noticed that someone has been planting cactus plants along this strip.
As you can see, the person or person who left it there would like it to stay. I rather like it there, and wondered about adding to the succulents!
I’m with you on this as I’m assuming it’s the same one, seeing that some river rocks had also made the journey too. Interesting find!

Looking at its precarious location, I’m also wondering if its still there and intact after last night’s 4.7 quake at around 8:45pm?
