Isn’t see beautiful? This is a jersey cow surrounded by South Suffolk sheep. They live at Kaituna Homestead in the Kaituna Valley which is located about 40 minutes out of Christchurch on the way to Akaroa.

This is Noodle. She’s a little shy but after about 10 minutes of checking me out, I got a little wet nudge on my hand to say she’s ready for her pat.

After the animals were all feed it was time for the humans to have scones with jam and cream! Yum!
