collage

All of the items in the collage above were made from materials salvaged from a Christchurch red zoned house that was deconstructed very carefully for the purpose of this Re-use project. The materials were distributed to arts and craft’s people all around New Zealand. The works they created are now on display at the Canterbury Museum. If you get a chance go and see the exhibit as it’s quite inspiring and remarkable to see the amount of creativity and love that has been poured into this awesome project. To learn more visit the museum’s website and download the PDF that has all of the information about the project.

If you would like to purchase some of the items, visit http://www.wholehousereuse.co.nz/auction/ to learn more as the funds raised will go to Kilmarnock Enterprises and Rekindle.
